A Little Bit About Me
My name is Nicki Kennon, or as some know me, Courtney. I live in Bay, AR with my husband, Brandon, and our 2 children. I stay crazy busy between family, work, and grad school but I've taken the plunge into taking my caking hobby to the next level. I love anything and everything cake and love nothing more (except my family of course) than being in the kitchen creating. My cake journey began 3 years ago with the celebration of our son, Cameron's first birthday. My first "real" cake was 2 tiers and fondant covered! I have been hooked since then. After the birth of our daughter, Lilly, in May 2010, my caking slowed down. Newborns require ALOT of energy. Around Lilly's 1st birthday this past May, my caking passion exploded! Since then I have been eating, sleeping, breathing cake. I'm so excited to take my hobby to the next level with Sweet Escape Cakery!
